Easthampton Savings Bank – Agawam

Location: Agawam, MA

Complex site planning issues were resolved in the planning of this 3,600 square foot branch bank in Agawam, Massachusetts. Specific focus was placed on energy efficiency and incorporating this building into the context of this Agawam historic district. The new building was designed with the massing and spirit of the 19th century Agawam Market building that was originally located on the site. Providing daylighting into this space was important to the client in an effort to give the lobby a bright open feel and reduce lighting costs.
