Shirley Meadows

Location: Devens, MA

After assisting the owner to win preferred developer status from MassDevelopment for this site at Devens, we then won a design competition to secure the commission for the project.

The project encompasses 58 units of senior housing apartments within a single, three story building designed to speak to the traditional context with a modern feel. Also included in the project are two small office spaces, a community room for tenant gatherings, health office, and laundry rooms on every floor.

We organized and led the Enterprise Green Communities Charrette to kick the project off and participated in a Universal Design Charrette.
