A collaborative work environment

At Dietz & Company we pride ourselves on having a collaborative work environment that provides our clients with inspired designs and our employees with the opportunities to share knowledge and imprint their experiences and passions into our work.

We are dedicated to the professional growth and career goals of our staff and have an ongoing commitment to providing educational development opportunities and cutting-edge technology to our team members. Regularly scheduled learning opportunities include:

  • Lunchtime learning events with vendors to learn about the newest products and materials available for our designs.
  • In-House Design Chats where staff share their projects and receive ideas and feedback from their coworkers
  • Architect’s Office Hours where staff submit questions and topics that they would like to learn more about; typically, a senior staff member will then lead a discussion on the submitted topics.
We believe in sharing knowledge and providing our staff with the opportunities to collaborate and learn at all levels of their careers. Being a positive influence on the design community is something that is deeply rooted in our firm culture.

Encouraging & supporting future architects

Since 2018, we have been recognized by the New England Components of the AIA as an Emerging Professional Friendly Firm and we strive to provide a work environment that encourages opportunities for mentorship and professional growth. Additionally, we hope to encourage and support the next generation of architects through the Dietz & Company Architects Scholarship fund that is awarded annually to a local architecture student.
