Dietz & Company Architects, Inc. has been honored with a 2012 Super 60 Award for Growth by ACCGS, the Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield, Inc. This award is presented annually to the top businesses in the region which contribute to the strength of the regional economy in a significant way.
One noteworthy regional accomplishment for the firm was the opening of the Easthampton Savings Bank new Loan and Banking Center in Easthampton. From the high performance glass curtain wall that lets in generous amounts of natural light while controlling solar gain through the use of glass coatings and sunscreens, to the photovoltaic panels that cover the roof, this is a building of the 21st century. In fact, the building is 48% more efficient than a typical building.
The firm is also preparing for construction to begin on the historic renovation of three buildings in downtown Springfield that will make up the new Main Street location of The Caring Health Center. This community health center provides healthcare services including primary and preventive care, as well as many clinical services and health education. The Center has experienced dramatic growth and now services over 15,000 individuals in the greater Springfield area.
