Silk City Commons is a mixed use redevelopment of the former Parkade Shopping Center site in Manchester, CT. The redevelopment includes 232 units of housing in 8 residential buildings, along with a clubhouse, free-standing garages, and a maintenance building with a dog wash station. The clubhouse includes a leasing office, mail and package room, a living room-style gathering space, full fitness center, outdoor pool and patio, and a rentable function room.

The larger site design develops a multi-use recreation trail along Bigelow Brook that extends west from the north-south Cheney Rail Trail to the east of Broad Street as part of the Town’s initiative to increase multi-use path connectivity. Along Broad street, two parcels are planned retail pad sites
